Nantwich WI

Founded in 1989, Nantwich WI has around 58 members. Meetings are normally held on the second Tuesday of the month at the United Baptist Church Hall, Market Street, starting at 1.30 pm. Visitors and new members welcome.

Diary Dates

14th September 2010
The subject for the talk at the September Monthly Meeting is "A Year in New Zealand" when the speaker will be Mrs Lynn Hand. The competition is a 'Poem of 4 Lines' New members and visitors will be made very welcome.

12th October 2010
Christine Salisbury will give a talk entitled "Your True Colours" at the October Monthly Meeting. Competition 'A Pretty Scarf'. New members and visitors welcome.

9th November 2010
This is the date of the Annual Meeting.There will be nominations and a ballot for the Committee and President for 2011.The year's activities will be reviewed with the Annual Report and Financial Statement.Following the Annual Meeting there will be a tasting session of members'recipes.

20th November 2010
Coffee Morning at the Nantwich Parish Church Room.Coffee served from 9.30am to 12.00 noon.Various stalls with a Christmas theme.

Activities

Our range of activities includes a Bridge Group, day visits to theatres and places of interest, also a Luncheon Group,Scrabble, Drama, two Craft Groups and some gardening activities.
