Hough & District WI

Founded in 1966, Hough & District WI has around 68 members. Meetings are normally held on the first Tuesday of the month at the Village Hall, Cobbs Lane, starting at 7.30 pm. Visitors and new members welcome.

Choir practice beings again after the summer break. Meeting at St John's Church Hall, Shavington at 7.30pm.

Hough Village are holding a Fayre to raise funds for the upkeep of the Hall. Hough WI will be running a cake and book stall. Everyone welcome.

Strollers Walk - Meet at Wychwood Village Golf Club at 10.30am and the walk will be around Wychwood Park and past the trout fishing lakes, back past the Broughton Pub and then to the 19th hole at the Golf Club. When approaching from Nantwich end, the Golf Club is on the Left - not the big Wychwood Park one.

(Date to be confirmed) Hough WI fund raising event will be a Spring Open Garden Trail, followed by refreshments, stalls and raffle in the Village Hall. This will be a unique event with member's spring gardens showcased for all to see.

Activities

Membership of Hough WI has tripled in the last 3 years, proving what a vibrant and diverse group of spirited 'girls' we are!!! Diverse activities from luncheon club to bowling team, walking groups to darts team, craft club to choir practice, scrabble afternoons to quiz team, golf team to day trips and finally book club to theatre trips.
