Scrabble & Dominoes competitions will be held at Tarvin Community Centre starting at 7.00pm. If possible please bring your own scrabble board, or dominoes.

24th September  County Walk
The walk will be take place in the Bickerton/Pecforton Hills area

28th September  Fashion & Flowers
An evening of Fashion & Flowers at Northwich Memorial Hall. 7.30 pm Flower arranging by ELEANORE GRIFFITHS & Fashion Show by SI-BELLE of TARPORLEY & TARVIN. Admission £8.00 
Change of Venue now Porta Premier Golf Club  Apply enclosing SAE & Cheque for £8.00 made payable to CFWI to WI House by 27th August 2010 
28th September  Golf Day
A Greensome Stableford Competition followed by light refreshments. Cost £18.50. Pairs and single entries are welcome. Please send details of your handicap and your WI with payment. Any queries contact Jenny Moore 01625 82923.

9th October  Christmas Crafts
A Christmas Crafts Taster Day. Learn how to make: Suffolk Puff Christmas tree, Patchwork folded trees,a simple crocheted snowflakes, a tree decoration, gift boxes, quilled and metallic embroidered Christmas cards and Crackle painted gifts. Material costs approimately £1-£1.30 per activity SORRY FULLY BOOKED

12th October  Autumn Meeting
CFWI Autumn Meeting to be held at Winsford Lifesyle Centre. 11.00am - 3.30 pm. Guest Speaker EDWINA CURRIE Former MP and well known broadcaster & author. Tickets £10

17th October  Weaver Valley WI Choir
Present "The Magic of the Musicals and much more.." A Concert at The Monastery, Gorton Lane, Manchester M12 5WF on Sunday 17th October at 7.30pm Ticket £10.00, concessions £8.00.

27th October  County Walk
in the Chelford/Lower Withington area. approx. 7 miles with a few styles, bring a packed lunch. (Sorry no dogs on County Walks)

4th November  Christmas Ring
Make a textured floral ring ready for the festive season using a variety of materials, at Lower Withington Village Hall. 10.00am-3.00pm £14.00 includes the basic foam ring. Any queries contact Pam Ingham on 01260 276229.

5th November  Pulic Affairs 0ne-day Event
"Poverty-making change happen" Expert speakers will be dicussing & debating relevent topics and projects. Starting at 10.30am to 3.45pm(tea & coffee from 10.00am) Tickets £10.00 including Lunch

10th November  CFWI 90th Birthday
A Service of Celebration, Chester, Cathedral. Wednesday 10th November, at 11.00am

20th November  Kanzashi Flower Making
Workshop. Saturday 20th November(as seen at the Cheshire Show) 10.00am - 3.00pm Tutor Alison Lord Cost £10.00

30th November  Christmas at White Friars
will take place on Tuesday 30th November, Wednesday 1st December, and Thursday 2nd December. (Lunches available)
