Chairman's letter for March

After a long and very cold winter, it is heart-warming to know that spring is just around the corner. Your Denman Representative Kathy Baldwin and I have just returned from Denman where we were Chairing the College for four days. I am delighted to report that the Shower room in the Cheshire Bedroom has just had a facelift-new shower tray, hand basin and flooring. We also chose a new carpet for the bedroom, so our room should be very smart when work is completed. Spring Group Meetings are underway and I would like to wish all new Chairmen, Secretaries and Treasurers "Good Luck".. By now all W.I. secretaries have received entry forms and stewarding information for the Cheshire Show. This is our BIG BIRTHDAY YEAR and we would like to make this an outstanding event in every way. Let us try for record entries, and members helping to steward or helping with refreshments. The Cheshire Show may be hard work,but it is a team event, everyone working and enjoying the whole experience. Don’t just think about it, give it a go! Do please support our 90th Birthday events, and also purchase the Birthday Souvenirs which will be on sale at our A.C.M in Winsford and all other events throughout the year.
