This year's AGM will debate a resolution calling for the mandatory clear labelling of food with its true country of origin.

The mandatory clear labelling of food with the true country of origin. This meeting urges HM Government to introduce clear and mandatory country of origin labelling on all meat, poultry and fish products sold in this country.

Each WI is invited to send two Representatives to the Resolution Meetings, at which we hope to have expert speakers, so that members have the opportunity to gather information and to ask questions about the proposed resolution(s). Any member, interested in Public Affairs, will be welcome at the two evening meetings, which are held at different venues to accommodate WIs from all over Cheshire.

There will be an update on recent progress with former WI campaigns and advice can be given as to how WIs can take further action.
